LYJ Ranch is situated in such a way that it geographically controls access to 1800± acres of BLM land, providing both summer and winter range for large elk herds. The hunting is outstanding for elk, bear, and mule deer. The ranch boasts several natural wildlife corridors. The land is a mix of oak brush, aspen, and dark timber and has eleven stock ponds and a network of trails that greatly enhance wildlife abundance.

With hunting trips that include lodging, a well-stocked kitchen (we will cater your meals), orientation, and some of the best hunting habitat on the Western Slope, when you hunt with LYJ Ranch, you’ll find you’ve made some lifetime friends. With such expansive areas, the use of horses can be permitted for most hunts. In addition, we promise memories that are almost as exciting looking back on as when you were on the hunt.
