Reviewed by Guest on May 2023Patrick DMatthew communicated with me consistently throughout the process. I allowed him to set up camp the night before and get his blind set up. Shortly after he called me and said an issue came up at work and he would not be able to hunt the next day. Hopefully we can set up another hunt in the future.

Patrick was very helpful and put us in the right direction!! Patrick was right there and helping us with questions very responsive!! Patrick is a very nice guy!! We all had a wonderful time!! We will definitely be going back!! And thank you to josh at land trust he was very helpful and right there everytime we need him or had a question!!

I was not able to be around during their hunt but communication was easy and they kept me updated on how the hunt was going. I would love to host their family again.

My experience with the landowner was overwhelmingly positive. Instead of a mere business relationship, I felt treat like a guest at his home. The landowner doesn't reside at the property, but he makes every effort to make you feel accommodated and satisfied with the visit to his property. There are several hunting plot options and lots of feeders to attract wildlife. The landowner sent daily advance images of game activity, which helped me select the best areas to hunt. Although I was doe hunting, I saw several bucks in various stages of maturity. I also saw large turkeys at one feeder. The site easily accessible with your vehicle and its urban setting affords proximity to many types of lodging, retail and other services. Upon a likely successful harvest, your host will assist you in retrieving and hanging your game, if necessary. I highly recommend this landowner!

Pat is an excellent host. Super communicative and eager to help you have a great hunt on his property. One of the things that makes him a great Landowner is that he's also a hunter so he's got stands, feeders, food plots, game cams all setup. Finding & accessing the property was very easy and just minutes from downtown Kansas City. The property itself is a great piece of land with rolling hills of timber, creek bottoms and a big pipeline cut line through the property with tons of grass. I booked a last-minute turkey hunt when I found out I had a morning free while visiting my in-laws in KC. Prior to my hunt, Pat grabbed trail cam pics and gave me a log of all the times he caught turkeys on the cams over the prior week which was really great. The morning of the hunt, I bumped 20+ whitetails on my walk to the turkey blind and heard a bunch of turkeys calling just as I was getting into the blind. I only sat the morning and the turkeys never showed up but I had a few deer come in to 5yds which was great. For a Friday morning hunt that I booked 3 days prior, it was a blast & I know I would have been successful if I could have hunted another morning. Anyone living in/around KC or who travels to KC like I do for family or work HAS to check out DunnLand, you'll be happy you did!
