Another great day at Joe & Barb's place! The river was very high but we were able to get out to where the morels are and got a couple of pounds of them. Looking forward to coming back out after the runoff!

Joe and Barb were great! They called and gave us the intel we needed. Someone got lucky the day before us and it could have affected where the birds were. We only saw a few hens. Beautiful property for sure.

Joe and Barb are the consummate hosts. They were available the day before our hunt to go over property lines, gate access, prior game sightings as well as a history of the ranch. Barb was quick to respond to phone calls and texts. The property is beautiful and there is an incredible amount of wildlife held there. We are looking at more opportunities to visit the Axtell Ranch in the future

Very fun hunt, we didn’t have to be there long before getting a turkey! Got to also see lots of different wildlife. Barb was so helpful and responsive also.

Joe and Barbara are very helpful and easy to work with. Their property is a gem with plenty of deer and turkey. The views are spectacular as well.

As always, we had a great weekend hunting the Axtell Ranch! Tons of mule deer does, with some good bucks rotating through during the rut. Barb and Joe are extremely helpful and always provide great intel on what they've been seeing!

As per usual, we had a blast at the Axtell Ranch! Sat in one of the tree stands and saw 4 bucks, two good 8 pointers, and a bunch of does throughout the day. I will definitely be back!

Joe & Barbara are just wonderful people. My wife & I met the property owners the day prior to our leased visit. Spent over an hour visiting. They laid out details about livestock and property history along with boundaries. The river bottom area is just stunning. Saw deer & waterfowl during our visit. 5 stars is not enough to show how much we enjoyed the property and owners. R & D

Great Montana ranch people! Great hosts that showed me exactly where to access the river. If you can’t enjoy this place, these people something is out of place. Great fishing, lots of water to fish. Caught Browns,Rainbows and lots of Whitefish here.

Took my buddy out who had never caught a fish on a flyrod before. The Axtells have plenty of open shoreline and easy water to learn the basics and we even got him hooked into his first fish. Love fishing there.

This is one of my favorite properties. It's just such a special piece of ground straddling the Gallatin river, with all sorts of wildlife. Seeing it with snow on a chilly fall morning watching ducks, geese, eagles, and deer go about their business is fun - and it's so close to town it's hard not to spend all my time out there.

We had a great hunt at the Axtell Ranch. It was the last week of the season and we were able to take a nice two-year-old muley buck. We saw some other bucks as well but weren't able to make moves on them before they crossed over onto adjacent properties. Joe & Barb were great hosts!

Phenomenal property with a really unique spot to whitetail hunt. The tree stands were easy to find and get to, as long as you have waders! Saw lots of deer, but I didn't have the buck I was looking for come under my stand. Will definitely be back next season!

Joe and Barb’s land is truly a piece of Gallatin Valley history. The amount of wildlife and scenic views are nothing short of amazing. Pair that with both of them being wonderful hosts makes for a fantastic day. I would happily go back any day!

Joe & Barb are great landowners to work with. The property is beautiful and we did see some ducks and got a couple. It was a very warm opening day and this property will only get better for waterfowl as the temperatures drop down. We'll be back!

Another awesome day on the river! Caught my biggest fish ever on the Gallatin, a nice 22" brown. Can't wait to hunt out here this season, deer tracks everywhere!

This piece of property is beautiful and has a great variety of natural habitat suitable for various species. We saw bear tracks within the first 5 minutes of being on the property and lots of more sign to follow. Off to the right of the road is a stretch of private river fishing while to the left offers more open fields for game to roam. We saw two bucks on our way out and look forward to watching them grow throughout the season via game cams.

This is a wonderful property. So close to Bozeman yet a world away. Great stretches of water, caught 15+ nice sized fish in 4 hours (wish I could've stayed longer). Joe and Barb are super helpful and friendly.

Beautiful property with a great stretch of river. It is uncommon to have the river to yourselves and enjoy the day. Caught fish early, enjoyed a lunch out in the open and had a friendly visit with the owner. Thanks to the homeowners for deciding to share this gem, so close to town...but so far away.

Had an amazing day of fishing on the Axtell property! A ~15 fish day with a couple 16"+ browns and a handful of good rainbows. Having a day like that with no one else on the Gallatin, 5 minutes outside of Four Corners is a pretty special experience. This will be one of my new local spots!

This property never disappoints. Gorgeous day, minutes outside of town, and not another soul to see all day. Absolutely love visiting this ranch.

Joe & Barbara's place is really special. Over 1mi of private river access on the Gallatin just 5mins from Four Corners provides an impossibly crowd-less experience right in town. Barbara is also a great host who's responsive and helpful. I'm looking forward to many more bookings for fishing, hunting & foraging on The Axtell's property!

This is one of the most incredibly scenic and special properties I have ever been to, and I've been to quite a few. I booked fishing access and was floored by the view of the mountains and the river before I even wet a line. Throughout the day we saw ducks, geese, an eagle's nest, and a pair of sand hill cranes. This will be a very special property to hunt as well I think. Joe and Barbara are great hosts and while I was there was already planning to rebook during hopper season to go back and fish this summer.
