You like Magnum Merriam’s and a Land Owner that is a salt of the earth kind of person? Alan Kenning is your man, I had a lot of fun on his farm. Plenty of turkeys, deer, and other wildlife. Mr. Alan and I met up in the evening before the hunt, he showed the property, even some adjoining public land access. We scouted a big Merriam’s tom and I spent the entire time I was there playing cat and mouse with that bird. What an awesome trip, even without a kill - from the perspective of a career public land hunter - hunting his farm all to myself was well worth the price. I can’t wait to go back. Sidenote: Everyone at Landtrust that I dealt with has been awesome! Colton and Gabi are awesome!!!
Reviewed by Guest on April 2023Alan KGavin arrived and we took the tour, I was pointing out where I had seen some turkeys about an hour earlier while feeding the cattle, to my surprise they were still there, a big old Tom and a Jake and some hens, we watched them for about 15 minutes and were quite amused. His trip was cut short due to an accident of an employee, he said he had a great time and is welcome to come back, he was bow hunting.

Alan was an awesome host! Great communication from booking all the way through the weekend. You could tell he wanted my daughter to kill a turkey. Unfortunately I was not able to get her on a bird but we saw and heard plenty. If we were more mobile, and were able to run and gun instead of being confined to a blind, I don't think we would have any problem killing. Great experience and I'd like to hunt his place again!

What a beautiful property Alan has! It was a pleasure to meet Alan and I appreciated his generosity and knowledge of the area. I would definitely like to come back and hunt deer in the future. I saw plenty signs of deer and saw a lot of wildlife! Thanks again for a great trip Alan!

Very respectful young men that I enjoyed meeting and they shared they would like to come back.

Alan was absolutely great. We felt like family from the beginning. Even with a minor hiccup we made adjustments and things worked out how they were suppose to. Great people with an awesome property.

My expectations were met and enjoyed meeting and having conversations with the land owner.I saw plenty of turkeys and lots of deer sign. Had multiple interactions with the birds. I handicapped myself with a crossbow which is the only reason i did not get my long beard

Mitchell arrived and we went over where to hunt, had a nice visit and on the second day he bagged a bird, he said he seen others but couldn’t get close enough.

One of the best hunts I’ve ever been on. Beautiful farm with lots lots of birds. Alan went out of his way to make the trip the best. The hospitality is top notch. Would recommend the experience to any Hunter. Definitely 5 stars
