Great place for a late season turkey hunt. Wasn’t successful but we heard turkeys. We just didn’t have enough time to be successful on a farm we never had hunted before. Sam was great. He checked in on us to see how things were going and gave us some helpful information on the farm. We look forward to trying his place next year.

Sam has a beautiful property in the northeast part of the State of KS and he was very helpful in helping us set up our game plan. Great rolling agricultural hill threaded with strips of timber lined gulleys. We were able to roost the birds the night before our hunt and set up pretty close to them. Lots of gobbles as the sun came up. The birds flew down to the ag side of the timber instead of where we were set up on the pasture side and we talked with them for about 30 minutes before they decided to go silent and move off. We moved and set up on the ag side of the timber and again had a lot of gobbling bet we were unable to coax them in to gun range. Sam has 3 separate pieces of ground listed and we saw turkeys on two of the 3. Need to Polish up on my calling skills for the next visit to Sam’s!

Enjoyed my hunt. On Sam’s property and getting to meet Sam. He was a very good host and shared information to help with my stay and hunt.
