Bear activity follows the creek line and wooded sections where cover and water are close together. The property’s quiet setting and limited pressure allow bears to move through naturally, especially during seasonal food shifts.

The acreage offers multiple established tree stands and a ground blind positioned to take advantage of natural movement through cover. Natural forage is supplemented with small feed piles placed near stand locations, helping concentrate activity during the season. The mix of wooded cover and brushy pockets allows hunters to slip in quietly and set up without disturbing the entire property.

About the acreage:

Our little slice of paradise is located just outside Branchville, New Jersey, only one hour from the New York Metropolitan Area. This tract has been actively managed for hunting over the past several years, with pockets of timber and brush creating strong edge cover and natural travel corridors. Papakating Creek runs along the southwest boundary, adding a reliable water source that draws wildlife throughout the season and is home to some pretty decent fishing!

Papakating Creek is stocked with brookies, rainbows, and browns, providing a great way to spend downtime between sits! Fishing is included with all hunts!

Hunters can stay on-site with overnight camping options. Bring a small trailer or camp in a tent or car/truck.
