We also have a dog town. I used to think there were not enough to shoot at, but the dog town has grown, and hunters tell me that there are plenty to shoot at. Fortuneately you can drive out to the shooting site, which is just over the hill from the house. The dog town is along the bottom of a ridge. About 500 steps long and 50 steps wide. It seems that 22 cal work best because they are quiet. Big guns scare them all into their holes.
We are located in southwest Custer County, 17 miles north of Gothenburg and Interstate 80. We look forward to hosting you!
