The A- Ranch is a small family ranching operation consisting of just over 960 acres of prime Nebraska mule deer country. Our habitat is primarily pasture and grassland with draws, several deep canyons with cedar trees, and one large tree belt with excellent access. In addition, we also farm rye and oat on parts of the ranch, and those fields have been known to be a major food source.
Our turkey population has increased to a good huntable number. Turkeys travel daily from the big tree belt along the road to the cornfield. Also find them in the tree belt along the lane.
We are located in southwest Custer County, 17 miles north of Gothenburg and Interstate 80. We look forward to hosting you!
