Whitetail are the main attraction here, with the green field, spring, pond, and nearby row crops creating a strong mix of food and water in a compact setting. The surrounding brush and timber give deer secure cover, and the creek-bottom field creates a natural place to catch movement as they feed in the mornings and evenings.

Hunters can also shoot hogs and coyotes. Deer hunting is daylight hours only.

The layout is straightforward and effective, with easy access to a well-established 4 to 5-acre food plot set along a creek bottom where deer activity has been consistently strong.

We have a 6'x8' box blind and a feeder for hunters to make use of as well. The elevated stand is spacious and can comfortably accommodate two adults and one child, or one adult with up to three small children.

Note: Archery hunting may be a bit difficult out of the box blind, since the food plot is large. It would be beneficial to bring a climber or saddle if that is your plan.

We are located in south Monroe County about an hour from Mobile and 30 minutes from I-65, offering 45 acres of quiet, low-pressure hunting near the Alabama River. Completely surrounded by a larger private landholding, this tract feels tucked away, with very little outside traffic and limited hunting pressure over the years.

A natural spring runs the edge of the green field, and a nearby pond adds another dependable water source when rainfall allows. The balance of the property is mostly brush and timber, giving deer the cover they need to bed, stage, and move confidently into the open. Nearby agricultural ground, including peanuts and corn, helps support steady feeding patterns in the area, while feeders on the property add another draw and help keep game using the tract regularly. For hunters who like to settle in and hunt a property with a simple, proven setup, this one checks the right boxes.

The on-site camphouse makes it easy to turn a hunt into a comfortable stay, with room for 4 to 5 guests, two king beds, a full kitchen, and a spacious living area for winding down after the evening sit. A skinning shed outside adds convenience when it is time to handle game.
