Turkeys roam throughout the pastures and woodlines, especially along creek bottoms where insects and forage are abundant in the spring. Roosting typically occurs along the hardwood stands near water, with early morning gobbles echoing across our hills. The open fields provide ideal setups for calling and decoy work, while the wooded draws offer concealment for stalks if you want to run and gun.
The 61 is made up of two parcels, one 47-acre parcel and another 14-acre parcel. Creekbeds, timber, and tall-grass pasture, make up the habitat.
