Back to Grass Nebraska
We are proud to be a 1st-generation sheep and goat ranch in Lincoln County, Nebraska, just under 15 minutes from access to I-80 and about 30 minutes from North Platte and Gothenburg respectively.
As 1st-generation ranchers we have committed to implementing holistic ranching and management practices. As a natural result, our 600+ acres make up truly a dynamic landscape with beautiful rolling hills and natural grasses. The ranch also features a series of timbered draws, which provide cover for a teeming wildlife population, along with higher ground that makes for excellent glassing locations.
Hunters will have access to the ranch for Whitetail and Mule Deer, Hybrid turkeys, and doves. The ranch is located in the Platte Unit for firearm deer hunts.
For our deer and turkey hunters, we ask that you book a minimum of two days to fully take advantage of the ranch.
Note: The ranch is made up of paddocks that we use to rotationally graze our sheep. Sportsmen should be aware that 15-30 acres of the ranch will be unavailable depending on where we have our sheep. Upon booking, we will communicate which paddock we have our sheep in. In addition to our sheep, we do have several sheep dogs. They are nice; however, we just wanted to communicate this so sportsmen are aware.

During my visit to Steve's amazing property, we saw a couple deer milling around. After speaking with Steve and touring the property, I think there's good potential for whitetail, turkey, and dove hunters.
