Private road leads to beautiful camp site along the Klineschmidt canal and the Gallatin River. This site is large enough for campers of all sizes, is surrounded by large pines, and offers easy access to the river. There is a custom fire pit with seating and firewood.

The property is rotationally grazed by cattle during the spring, summer and fall. Flood irrigation brings new green clovers, flowers, and grasses after grazing. Neighboring farms plant alfalfa.

Water: Ponds, Streams, Rivers, Creeks, and Springs

 

There are multiple springs, seeps, ponds, streams, and wallows on the property. The property borders the Klineschmidt Canal and Gallatin River for about a mile near the mouth of the Gallatin Canyon.

Shelter: Mountains, Hills, Woods, Draws, Grasslands, Brush, and Shelter Belt

 

Rolling hills, dense pine forests, and creek draws cover the property. Stands of aspen trees and deep ravines create plenty of natural shelter.

Pets: Allowed on property • Pets are allowed at RV site but not throughout the premises because of pressure from wolves as well as weed control.

Walk-in Access: Yes • Once parked at one of the three parking areas visitors will need to walk on foot. We don't allow any off site vehicles beyond the parking areas to help prevent weeds on the property.
Vehicles: 6 Allowed • Parking areas are large and open. Visitors should park off of the roads.
Landowner Rules: Please be considerate of wildlife and cattle. No loud music at any time. SPEED LIMIT: Please observe a speed limit of no more than 15mph on gravel roads. TRASH: Cleanliness of the area is important to me. Site of activity is to be kept clean and orderly. NO FIREWORKS ALLOWED. PARKING: Three vehicles per area only.
