Blackwater Springs
Blackwater Springs is 507 acres of gently rolling hills with two flowing tributaries of the Suwannee River converge at a private natural spring onsite. Out of the entire property, 307 acres of it is an open pasture with scattered oaks. The rest contains 100 acres of natural rolling scrubland and 100 acres of 8-year longleaf pine.
This piece of land is healthy with hybrid turkey. The parcel borders the east side of San Pedro Bay, which holds 500,000 acres of wilderness timberland. The largest area in the state of Florida unihabited by humans. Making for a diverse habitat that any recreator would dream of.
RV and tent camping access is available on the property. If you decide to stay elsewhere, Mayo is 17 miles south and has hotels, restaurants, gas stations, and grocery stores.

Great property, great land manager. Gave intel for a great head start. Property definitely has birds.

Had a great time hunting turkey’s and camping onsite. It held birds where he said they were and I got everything that I was looking for. Even though I had an unsuccessful hunt I had a great experience.
Reviewed by Guest on April 2024 I turkey hunted the County Road 53 property for my first hunt of the 2024 season. It was AWESOME. It's very walkable. The turkeys are there! I was lucky enough to fill one tag. Max was extremely helpful with informing me on where turkeys have been seen in the past ( if you don't have OnX, I suggest getting it. It's VERY helpful). I can't wait to go back next year.
