This property is made up of mostly pastures, but with great tree lines around the perimeter. Setting up in those tree lines provides great opportunities on turkeys and whitetail that feed in the pastures every day. There is also some good waterfowl opportunity on the various ponds.

Jovanna was a very accommodating host and answered any questions we had. Property was nice and laid out well. Lodging was less than 20 min. away. Thanks for a great time!

a nice property and we did see turkeys. However, of the two owner properties one is mostly pasture. the second also is mostly pasture, but has blocks of timber bordering. we did see turkeys though and that was the objective. One very cool thing we saw was the nest of a Bald Eagle with a young bird in the nest. As for camping i recommend going to Praire park about 10 miles away. the porperty is a working cattle farm. the owners are very responsive which i found to be very helpful and pleasing.

Jovanna was very friendly and welcoming. We didn’t harvest a turkey, but we did see 3 longbeards on her property our first morning out!

My expectations were definitely met. The property was very easy to access and had a good layout. Wasn’t there long enough to see how the population of turkeys was gonna be. Morning was cold and windy but got lucky and called in a nice Tom. Finished the deal. Thx Jovanna!!!

Hello and welcome, Its fun on the farm and I'd like to share my adventures with you and your family. With a history on this land from my grandpa, my family has cared for this land while growing cattle and grain since the 1930's. Many life events later, by my choice, I returned to the farm 22 years ago as an adult to help my dad in the daily farming operations. Since his death 4 years ago, I continue this leg of my journey with my cow dog Veda working my cows, growing quality calves and caring for the land as my family before me. At this time, I have 5 pastures of cow/calf pairs. My motto is, "all I need is a little bit of lipstick, a whole lot of Jesus and just one more cow!" I look forward to take you out to check my cows and answer any questions you have about, cattle, farming, and even some Southeast Kansas lore!
