Chalk Butte is a multi-generational family operation that started in the early 1900's. The northeastern Montana property includes hay/pasture ground, beautiful views, easy access off of the highway, and a 19th-century barn. Not to mention that our land serves as a healthy habitat for deer and upland birds thanks to agriculture, livestock tanks, and natural shelter for wildlife.
RV and tent camping access are available. If you choose to stay off-property, Plentywood is just 9 miles east and offers needed amenities such as hotels, restaurants, and gas stations.

Available Packages
Chalk Butte is a great property that is easy to get to and enjoy. I saw quite a few tracks in the snow while we walked around, both bird and deer. A nice group of grouse flew up out of a draw and saw many others fly up out of the hay ground. We also spotted a few deer hanging out in the bottom of a draw.
