Muzzleloader and Bowhunters are invited to hunt whitetail at the Sand Dunes.
Archery or Muzzleloader only.
The farm is located in Whiteside County and features gently rolling hills, surrounded by pine trees.
Our corn and soybeans are the main source of food for deer. In addition to patches of cottonwoods interspersed throughout the property, the neighboring pine trees serve as shelter for deer as they move in and out of the ag fields to feed.
With the limited cover, a popup blind near the edge of the trees along our property boundary would probably be the best play for bowhunters. Muzzleloader hunters may have better luck hunting the ag fields or over the livestock tanks, again with a popup blind.
Our family hunts both firearm seasons, so those dates are unavailable.
