Covey Creek
Covey Creek Farms - has rolling hills with about 70% pasture land and 30% hardwoods. This farm is planted and managed exclusively for quail. It comprises multiple species of native grasses, forbs, and legumes. We also have an abundance of briars and thorn bushes to provide escape cover for upland birds. We also plant pockets of corn, soybeans, millet, milo, and sunflowers. During the spring you will find many species of wildflowers that attract plenty of insects for our quail to enjoy.
Has a three-acre pond near the farmhouse and makes for a great view for cleaning birds and shooting the shit with paw paw after an exciting hunt. This farm is also home to the moniker of our business Covey Creek, this creek runs from the north to the south end of the property. Its a great place to take a nap in between hunts or just enjoy the scenery. It is our families favorite place to be.
