The pheasant population should be very solid this year, but the birds can be cagey here, so look for a cold morning. The buck population is down a bit from previous years, but still plenty of does if you are looking to fill the freezer.

Solid population of pheasants. I was able to harvest a few pheasants on opening day. Great place to introduce a young bird dog to pheasant hunting. Fun hunt!

This property does hold a few pheasants that can be seen on the road getting gravel but for the most part are imbedded in the tall, mostly impenetrable creek brush and willows. This makes getting a clear shot, even with a well trained flushing dog, tough and very difficult with a pointing dog that will not break point until the bird is flushed. There is a beautiful place to park a small trailer but fill your water tanks and empty sewer tanks if staying more than a couple nights. The hosts are pleasant and accommodating.

Toynette was very helpful and responsive. The property was beautiful. It's prime pheasant habitat. I had an action-packed hunt and was able to get a few pheasants. I also encountered a lot of whitetail deer and mule deer on the property.

Me and my son in law hunted pheasants over a portion of 2 days and stayed overnight. Toynette is a wonderful and gracious host and the property has supreme pheasant habitat. We hunted without dogs and still had good action and bagged several roosters. I can only imagine how many more flushes we'd have with a couple of bird dogs. If you enjoy pheasant hunting then you need to check out this place. You won't be disappointed.

Saw a decent number of roosters, but as it goes with late season. There was a lot of wild flushes out of range. Great cover for pheasants and Toynette was good to work with.

Toynette is a great host and this is truly a great pheasant & deer property. Pryor Creek splits the property with a lot of cattails, willows & reeds along it providing ideal cover for birds and deer. There are also hayfields along both sides of the creek where you'll see a lot of birds & deer in the mornings and evenings. We hunted for a couple hours in the morning and even though we got out a little later than we wanted to (8:45am) we still saw 20 roosters and a handful of whitetails.
