We enjoyed our time fishing. The water weed line made it challenging and interesting. We were able to catch some nice size bluegill and bass glad this little gemstone body of water is available to fish in our region. Would and definitely be going back in future.

The pond is excellent for flyfishing, whether in a float tube, wading or casting from the bank, it was the ideal place. It was windy so I used an 8 weight rig and had great success with Clouser minnows and a top water popper. Tim and his wife, Rhonda, are a treasure with their rural hospitality, farming background with superior knowledge of plant and animal agriculture, and easy to converse with. Sitting on the pond in a float tube with cows and horses grazing in the background, the creak of a functional windmill and beautiful Golden Retrievers lounging about the property makes it invigorating and peaceful at the same time. I give the place, the people and the pond the highest marks. The bass and bluegill were plentiful and beautiful, the water clear and clean. It was the best farm pond fishing I’ve ever done.
