Our weather can be very unpredictable during the Fall with anything from 80+ degrees to a blizzard. 

Note: NO TRESPASSING ON NEIGHBORS. If wounded game goes onto neighbors, under no circumstances shall you leave LandTrust boundaries without calling JP first. Any trespassing and/or failure to notify JP if wounded game leaves boundary, guest will 1) be asked to leave without refund and 2) forfeit future hunting opportunities at Danielski Farms.

Take advantage of kayaking the Niobrara River, spending time at Merritt Reservoir, taking long walks with scenic views, fishing, hunting, visiting the winery, hiking, experiencing farming and ranching, or just enjoying a book by the pond. You're sure to leave renewed and refreshed and planning your next visit!

The ranch’s has over 1000+ acres of irrigated corn, beans, wheat, peas, or alfalfa in rotation. The rangeland grass conditions are excellent, only being used for summer grazing allowing wildlife to have the place to themselves from December to May.

Ponds and Livestock Tanks

 

We have numerous ponds and livestock tanks that are kept open in places over winter for wildlife.

Hills, Grasslands, Shelter Belt, Draws, and Brush

 

The big sandhills to the west and east side of the place offer big hideouts. There are numerous mature fenced out cedar shelter belts that provide quit resting spots for all wildlife.

ATV's: Allowed • DO NOT PARK IN TALL GRASS. ATV's are allowed along existing trail roads to transport you to and from hunting area or to retrieve harvested game. During extreme fire danger times we may limit the use of ATV's.
Drive-in Access: Yes: DO NOT PARK IN TALL GRASS. Access to the majority of the ranch is accessible with trail roads that can be used. All gates are to be left the way you found them and NO cutting fences. Do not trespass on neighbors by leaving designated LandTrust area. Wildlife is extremely cautious to new sounds and vehicles often times choosing to leave if spooked.
Walk-in Access: Yes • Within the boundaries of the designated LandTrust boundaries feel free to explore the pastures and pivots. Please ask for any clarifications needed to keep neighbors happy. We would ask that you respect the personal property and buildings at home place.
Vehicles: 2 Allowed • Please provide host with make, model, color, and license plate number of vehicles.
Landowner Rules: We insist you follow all state and federal hunting laws. We will not condone violations and will report all game violations. Note on Property Boundaries: Please stick to only the outlined boundaries that are provided from LandTrust via onX/Huntwise. We have portions of parcels under our name that are not included in our LandTrust offering. Please refrain from leaving the provided boundary even if the parcel is under our name. Thank you.
