East Creek Stock Farm @ Hough's Crossing
Welcome to Addison County, Vermont!
Our family farm is primarily a sod-based, grazing operation. We custom graze and custom feed our animals. We also have a logging operation.
Our brookside parcel is home 120+ acres of hayfields, timber, and creekbottom. The hay field represents about 33% of the habitat composition, while the rest of the ground is hilly woodland, natural forage, and water sources. It's a great destination for whitetail and turkey hunters.
Our farm is located on the eastern boundary of Vermont's WMU F2.
In addition to the whitetail and turkey hunting, guests can enjoy fishing in the ponds or spend time foraging and shed hunting during the off-season. Photography and camping are also welcomed.
The farm is located about an hour south of Burlington, while we are only just a few minutes from Lake Champlain. The Lake makes up part of the Vermont-New York Border. Ticonderoga is just across the lake, and during the summer (May 4 - Oct 6) there's a ferry you can take to visit the town and the historic fort. We are 20 minutes from the bridge and just 2 miles from the Ferry.
