Hunters are invited to visit the farm to help manage our population of predators. This will help us ensure we have a good hatch of upland birds and turkeys!
Note: Our 2,800+ acres are not all timber. Most of the acreage is open ag ground with scattered tree cover and water sources.
Our property has it all when it comes to habitat, we have some nice chunks of ag ground, which provide food sources for our wildlife. We also have pockets of timber on the property, which provide good cover for the deer and turkeys. We have water sources in the form of livestock tanks and ponds as well, which are great for doves and waterfowl.
We will not be offering structured lodging at this time; however, we are open to accommodate guests who want to camp or RV for overnight stays. That said, there are multiple local options for lodging in the surrounding area. Great Bend (30 miles) has a few hotels, Wilson (15 miles) has a few small bed and breakfasts, and Ellsworth (15 miles) has an RV park.
We are located about 15 minutes outside the town of Ellsworth. North of the acreage about 15 miles, Interstate 70 runs through the town of Wilson, providing easy access for folks making the drive west from Kansas City or east from Colorado.
