Falcon Stone Farm
The 155 acres are mostly no-till cropland of wheat and soybean, although we are incorporating some cotton into the fields as well. There is a 3.5 acre waterway with good prairie grass circling it. Additionally, there is an ancient hedgerow that runs halfway along the eastern edge of the property and a cluster of thick trees in the northeast corner. With no fences on the property, whitetail and small critters have no problem accessing the land to either pass through or stop and feed. Meanwhile, plenty of waterfowl and turkey are attracted to the waterway as well as upland species in the fields.
These fields have not been hunted in over 45 years and very little human activity occurs in the fields, so the animals feel no pressure out there. The wildlife feels right at home!
We are unable to offer lodging arrangements at this time, however we are located just on the outskirts of Wellington, KS. The nearest hotel is only 1.5 miles away and the town offers other amenities if necessary. We would like to cap a party of sportsmen to 3-4 individuals, although there is no minimum or maximum number of days required when booking.
My family and I are happy to open access to our property for recreation and trust that visitors will be respectful of the land and leave it as they found it.
We are looking forward to hosting you at Falcon Stone Farm!

We went on a dove hunt opening day and it was a blast had 4 guys hunting Harold’s field we shot a total of 34 birds and that was in one day. The reason why there’s so many birds in this area is because there’s a grain station just to the north. Almost every bird we shot were full of corn and Milo. The morning action was pretty slow (9 birds), but the afternoon really picked up (25 birds). The best spot to be is on that east tree line with people on either point of the gap in the east tree line (runs north to south). Harold was great! Very nice gentleman to work with and has a lovely field! We’ll definitely come back here!

Although I'm not an avid hunter, I am a supporter of hunting and trapping when done ethically.
I was born and raised in New Mexico, and grew up in the sun and wind of the high plains. I eventually moved to St. Louis, Missouri, where I worked for a well-known group of firearms manufacturers. In the early 2000's, I moved to Kansas to help my parents. I now own the farm my grandmother purchased in 1973, which is located across the road from where my father was raised.
This land has my family's blood, sweat, toil, and not a few tears in it. That said, I am willing to share it with those who understand and respect it.
