Hunt Merriams here in northeastern Wyoming.
We have over 1,350 acres of private land in Weston County. In addition to our private ground, we are bordered by a large chunk of BLM lands. We have two parcels that border the South Dakota state line as well, providing direct access to the Black Hills National Forest. The ranch hunts large, so hunters should be prepared to put some miles on their boots. Terrain is pretty rugged, and it can take some work to get around the ranch.
Habitat is classic terrain synonymous with the Black Hills, including timbered ridges, rugged draws, and natural springs. We have an abundant Merriam's turkey population, with good numbers of mature Toms year after year.
