The Four O Farm Co is a multigenerational operation on the northern plains of Montana. Portions of this land have been in our family since before the Great Depression, and has since been passed down through five generations of our family. Today, I proudly continue to operate our treasured piece of Montana with my sons. 

Our property consists of about 3,700 acres of grasslands and farm ground. Our grasslands are made up of rolling hills and coulees. We have a few small reservoirs and two large irrigation canals that cut through the property. We have ground on both sides of Interstate 15. 

We see a wide array of wildlife on the farm during the year. We have a large population of antelope and whitetails, with the occasional mule deer. Upland Game is prevalent, and waterfowl can be found around our farm ground and water sources. Small game and predators can be taken as well.

We ask that sportsmen book a minimum of two days for all bookings.

We are located about an hour north of Great Falls, which provides many decent lodging options. Guests are also permitted to RV/camp on the property during your booking.

Property Visited

As we drove around the property I saw several antelope and groups of deer, spooked up some birds out of the trees as we went by. The mix of farmground, grassland, and the irrigation canal snaking through the ranch attracts both large game and birds. County roads make it very easy to travel from one part of the property to another.

    Property west of the interstate was great, rolling coulee country. Unfortunately not mule deer made there way into it but did see some whitetails. Mark and his son were both very responsive and easy to communicate with.
