Our piece of Juneau County has been in our family for the past 45 years. This part of Wisconsin is near and dear to our heart. We own about 15 acres of well-groomed woods, where you'll find established trails and stands for deer, turkey, squirrel, and rabbit hunting with the occasional bear.
Our squirrel populations have become quite the nuisance, so we're eager to begin hosting respectful hunters who are willing to help thin out our populations!
We do have lodging that we winterize from the first of December through the first of April, meaning no running water. However, we will still have the heat on for winter bookings.
We are located about 5 minutes from Interstate 90/94, which provides convenient access to and from Madison to the south/east (~90 miles) and Eau Claire (97 miles) and Minneapolis (189 miles) to the north/west.
Great restaurants nearby as well as shopping for those last-minute needs.
A point of interest nearby is Castle Rock Lake, which has an abundance of boating, fishing, and beaches for outdoor recreation opportunities available in addition to what we have here at Fredrick's Ridge.
