We are farmers who are passionate about the land animals and plants we tend to.
We use regenerative agriculture and sustainable farming practices to grow your food that is packed full of nutrition and flavor.
Nestled upon the ridge in the beautiful Driftless region of SW Wisconsin, Garden Ridge Ranch is a family-run operation located just outside of Viroqua, WI.
With love and care, Justin and Darci with their 4 children in tow, raise your pork on lush green pastures and grow your strawberries without the use of chemicals.
Now we're excited to be opening the ranch for respectful hunters for both Spring and Fall turkey and whitetail. The ranch's 200 acres are located in Wisconsin's Zone 1 for turkey, while also representing both the Southern Farmland Deer Management Zone and Vernon-Southern Farmland Zone (Zone 2) for whitetail.
A natural byproduct of our regenerative practices here on the ranch is a thriving wildlife ecosystem. It's a great location to call in a Wisconsin Tom or harvest a classic midwest whitetail buck!
Lodging:
With 5 bedrooms, 4 full bathrooms, 3,500 square feet of finished living space on nine acres of land- there is ample space to invite your family and friends to stay with you. The house is located at the end of our dead end road- you will feel like the only people on earth so you can relax, feel rejuvenated and connect.

Hi there! Welcome.
We are the Daniels Family and the owners and operators of Garden Ridge Ranch.
In the hustle and bustle of everyday life, finding moments to connect with our family, friends and food is a major challenge.
However, one of the most beautiful and rewarding ways to bond with family and especially children is through the magic of the farm and the food grown here.
It’s a canvas for creating unforgettable memories that will last a lifetime.
It’s our passion and mission in life to make sure our family and community is fueled with the highest quality food so they can be their best unique selves.
As farmers, we know that healthy food starts with the soil it’s grown and raised on and that’s why we take care of it from the very beginning.
There is nothing we love more than feeding our family a meal that we’ve had a part in all the way through.
Like the strawberry pie we made to celebrate summer last year. We used lard from our pasture raised pork for the crust. The filling was made from fresh berries we grew and my children picked by hand. It was the most delicious pie we’ve ever eaten and the memory of working together as a family remains well after the pie is gone. When we think of that pie, it takes me back to one of my most favorite summers with my small children.
Food should not only be about filling our bellies, but nourishing our bodies, minds and souls.
