The property is well-suited for turkey hunting, with roosting and feeding areas throughout the timber and field edges. The habitat and mix of crops are solid for patterning gobblers in the Spring.
Gills Bridge South sits adjacent to Ft. Barfoot (formerly Ft. Pickett), a military training base with 40,000+ acres of land. This farm is in close proximity to the impact area with very limited hunting access.
