Bio

I'm proud to be the fifth generation on our Missouri Century Farm, which has been in my family since 1886. That legacy—built on generations of blood, sweat, and tears—means everything to me. I'm just the beneficiary of all that hard work, and I feel a strong responsibility to carry it forward, not just for my kids, but for anyone who wants to experience the beauty of North Central Missouri.

We run a small row crop operation—about 100 acres of creek bottom ground where we rotate corn and soybeans. But most of our focus is on cattle. Between my dad and me, we manage around 125 to 150 head of Angus, Wagyu, and Shorthorn-cross cattle on roughly 700 acres. We feed some out, sell some, and even ship beef to folks all across the country through a small direct-to-consumer business.

Our property is a mix of pasture, rolling hills, and timber. We’ve got nine ponds across our properties (plus a couple more on a leased neighbor's ground), all stocked over the years with some solid bluegill and bass—great for casting a line with my two boys, who are 16 and 18. It’s the kind of place I think more people should get to see and appreciate, which is why partnering with LandTrust has been such a great fit.
