The ranch is a 500-acre working cattle ranch that caters to the outdoor enthusiast. Ranch activities include bird watching, sight seeing, relaxing, cross country skiing, and more!

Year round activities: The ranch provides an environment for many migrating birds and waterfowl. Bird watchers come to see a wide variety of bird species such as Trumpeter Swans, Canada Geese, Sandhill Cranes, Bald Eagles, Osprey and a wide variety of songbirds. Other activities include ATV riding, Golfing, Horseback riding, hiking, rafting, skiing and snowmobiling depending on the time of year.

Henry's Fork Ranch is in the middle of it all: The Henry's Fork Ranch is centrally located near many of the areas major attractions. Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks are within a short drive. There is also Jackson Hole Wyoming, West Yellowstone and St. Anthony Sand Dunes. The ranch sits on the bank of the Henry's Fork but there are the South Fork of the Snake River, Madison River, Warm River, Fall River, Robison Creek, and numerous other streams. We also have major lakes like Henrys Lake, Island Park Reservoir, Hebgen Lake, and Ashton Reservoir to fish.

Where You'll Stay:

The original homestead log cabin has been completely rebuilt from the ground up. We have maintained the antique charm of an old ranch home, but added all of the modern comforts. It has one bedroom with a queen size bed and also has a leather queen size hide-a-bed in the living room. There are two queen size futons and two twin beds in the loft and a big screen TV and sound system. The kitchen is complete with a dishwasher, range, refrigerator, microwave and all of the dishes and bakeware needed. The claw foot tub in the bathroom is deep enough for a bubble bath or is equipped with a shower. Rough sawn wooden floors are throughout the cabin. Two covered decks complete the cabin. The front deck has a view of the Grand Tetons, while the back deck looks out at the river. A gas BBQ grill is provided for your use. You can walk out the door and in a few minutes be fishing. You can always come back to the cabin to relax, nap, eat and then go back out fishing without driving anywhere. Wonderful!

Check-in and check-out times to the cabin can be flexible, typically around 4PM arrival and 11AM departure.

You can begin your experience any legal time on the first day of your trip.
