Big country. Varied habitat. Rolling grassland, sagebrush steppe, creekbottom, livestock tanks + ranch reservoirs, rough timber breaks, and steep ridges. The ranch just about has it all.
Bird hunting has historically been a challenge at the ranch. It's not impossible, but sportsmen and their bird dogs should be prepared to put in some serious miles. Bird dogs are a MUST!
The ranch is located in Wyoming's Hunt Area 1 for grouse.
Season: Sep. 1 through Dec. 31

We are a regenerative-minded, family cow/calf operation based out of Rozet, Wyoming.
Located less than 20 minutes from interstate access to I-90, about 30 minutes from Gilette, and within an hour and a half of Belle Fourche, SD; Spearfish, SD; and Broadus, MT.
Lodging Options:
Our family's rustic 1950s-era cabin is available. Recently updated but intentionally off-grid, the cabin has four rooms, a woodstove kitchen, queen beds, a modern outhouse, and an outdoor firepit equipped for campfire cooking.
Overland truck and tent camping is available as well. No hookups.

Additional Details
This is a field near our main corrals. We have multiple semi-trucks driving up here each fall, so most types of RVs will be able to drive to this area. There is no limit on space and it is easy to to turn around in the grassy field. The view from this area is amazing - you can see for miles.
