Come and hunt for a variety of game during their respective season! This package includes coyotes, bobcats, raccoons, skunks, sharptail grouse, prairie dogs, and doves. Bison hunts, if interested, are a separate situation..inquire for more details. The property is home to native prairie, farmland, rolling hills, deep draws, and 5 miles worth of a rare perennial stream that free flows year-round. All of this makes for an excellent wildlife habitat.

Cabin and RV/tent access are available in addition to the packages. If you decide to stay elsewhere, the towns Timber Lake and Isabel are a short drive away and provide needed amenities.

Greetings! I am Gene Springer. I was born on this ranch in 1960. My father had the property since 1945. He bought into the property with his mustering-out pay from WWII. I am a veteran of the Iraq War 2003/2004. The Springer family has managed the land since.

Wildlife has always been part of the management plan, through the years.

Various techniques are used to manage the property, for bison and other wildlife. Some of the techniques involve: controlled grazing; controlled burns; discing; spraying; mowing; and planting. The results are great, but it takes alot of time and resources to maintain quality habitat. The process is ongoing. ...you never really finish.
