Mill Creek Ranch
Welcome to Southwest Montana's famous Paradise Valley!
Our family has lived and ranched this land since the late 1940s. Despite the changes to the valley, and Montana in general, that we've witnessed as the years have passed, our ranch is still a picture of the classic Montana cowboy operation.
Our ranching operation is built on a profound sense of stewardship, gratitude, and a commitment to leave the land better than we found it in hopes that future generations of our family can continue to live in this breathtaking place.
The ranch consists of 940 acres in the lowland foothills of the Absaroka's, the mountain range that makes up the eastern part of Paradise Valley. The acreage is comprised of rangeland pasture and hayfields with ag pivots. The Elbow Creek runs through the property, while the Mill Creek makes up the Western boundary of the ranch en route to the Yellowstone River.
The ranch should be an excellent destination for hunters with a general tag this season. Whitetail hunters especially should have success finding bucks along the creekbottoms. It's not uncommon to see elk and mule deer cruising from the mountain foothills into our fields as well.
We are open to guests camping or RVing on the property, whether you're enjoying the ranch's recreation opportunities or simply looking for a secluded area to stay reasonably close to the Park.
We are located just under 45 minutes from the Roosevelt Arch, which marks the northern entrance to Yellowstone National Park. We are located about 20 miles from Livingston/Interstate 90 and about 45 miles from the Bozeman area.
Note: This is a working ranch. Our children and grandchildren also live with us out on the ranch, so you may encounter people during your visit. We will do our best to stay out of your way, and we won't be recreating when you are, but you may see us around.

During my visit, I saw a few whitetails running through the Elbow creekbottom. Didn't see anything else while out there, but it was mid-afternoon and warm out. That said, Jim informed me that bear, elk, mule deer, waterfowl, and upland birds can all be found on the property!

I was born and raised on our family ranch in Paradise Valley, Montana. We hold Family Ministries services at the Church on the ranch, which is still a fully operational working cattle ranch.
My wife Betsy and I are happily assisted by our beautiful children and grandchildren that we see as a legacy to the Word and family…
