The daily bag limit during the open season is two sage grouse.
For the past decade, the ranch has been part of the Sage Grouse conservation program, which has increased our bird numbers. The ranch also features a Sage Grouse lek.
Our South Place is our family's ranch consisting of 3,980 contiguous acres just north of Lavina, MT.
This parcel was purchased back in the 80s and features an additional 640 acres of State Land access adjacent to us. The acreage has rolling hills and coulees and is home to some beautiful sandstone monuments.
Our History
Our family is proud to come from a long line of ranching in Montana. My great-grandparents originally settled in the Musselshell area after immigrating from Yugoslavia. In the late 30s and early 40s, they moved from Musselshell to Central Montana, where our family has stewarded the land ever since. Now, as 4th and 5th generation ranchers, we continue to place a premium on preserving our habitat and live with a deep sense of gratitude for our private piece of Montana.
