Elk Huntat Mountain Home Ranch
THERE IS NO SHOULDER SEASON IN 335. Elk hunting for up to two sportsmen (up to six guests with a limit of two shooters or harvests per day).
As many as 200 elk frequent this property and provide a phenomenal archery experience with several bulls to hunt. This is a general tag area with most bulls being 2 1/2 and 3 1/2 years old with occasional older 300"+ bulls.
Opportunities for bulls in rifle season peak on opening day and tend to progressively decline as the season goes on, since the bulls tend to leave this area after the rut. Cow hunting is generally successful throughout the season, with elk herds present on average every 2-3 days.
The property is in Unit 335 for elk, which is a general tag for elk.
For elk, non-residents with 0 pts have a 71% chance of drawing.
Archery Season: 9/3/22 - 10/16/22
General Season: 10/22/22 - 11/27/22
Additional packages can be accommodated. Please inquire for more information.
This ranch has plenty of open meadows and timber for elk and deer. The elk frequented the property in the mornings and evenings while I was there. Great spot for archery opener!
