Our cypress ponds and wetlands hold alligators, and make for a fun Georgia gator hunt!
Hunters can come out day or night hunting, but most people go at night and take a boat out in the water and try to look for the gator eyes!
The last people that went in my big pond before I started listing with LandTrust told me they were shining their light out there and getting the boat ready to put in the pond when the alligator swam up. They threw the rope over it and finished the deal without having to get the boat in the water, so they were pretty happy about that.
