NC Coastal Hunting
NC hunting opportunities about 40 minutes from Wilmington AND about 20 minutes from Camp Lejeune!!
Just 25 minutes inland from the Atlantic coast, this 725-acre multi-generational cattle operation in Duplin County offers a rare blend of deep-woods seclusion. Set in the countryside near Wallace, NC, the property is a mix of timber stands, meandering creek bottoms, and open pasture that has supported both livestock and wildlife for generations. A seasonal creek and several stock tanks provide year-round water sources, while natural forage and long-standing cattle rotation practices contribute to productive habitat, for Eastern Turkeys, whitetails, and bears. We are located directly northeast of the Angola Swamp.
The mix of terrain creates excellent natural travel corridors and bedding areas, particularly for whitetail deer and black bear. Towering timber along the creek bottoms offers shaded cover and ambush points, while the open ground edges and water sources draw wildlife consistently. For turkey hunters, the scattered hardwoods between pasture and fields offer ideal strut zones and roosting habitat. This is a property where you can spot gobblers at dawn and glass for deer or bear in the evenings—all within earshot of the ocean breeze.
NOTE: We only will be taking deer bookings until the end of October. November is just too crazy with calving to host deer hunters. We will be open for bear hunts though in November.
Guests are welcome to stay in a rustic barn on-site where the landowner’s family often gathers for dinner. It’s not a formal lodge, but with couches available and plenty of space, it provides a comfortable, down-to-earth overnight option. Camping and RVs are also welcome anywhere on the property, giving sportsmen the freedom to set up close to their favorite hunting zones or enjoy a quiet night under the stars after a day in the field.
