Deer use the hardwood draws and creek corridor as travel routes between bedding cover and feed, giving hunters defined terrain to pattern. Timbered edges and the transition zones between open grass and woods concentrate deer movement, especially as the rut approaches and bucks begin covering ground.
We are located in the North Texas Zone for whitetail.
This is the PERFECT local spot for whitetail hunters. Our 292-acre property is located right in between Weatherford and Fort Worth, making this a conveniently accessible hunting and recreation property here in North Texas. We are only 10 minutes from interstate access to I-20 and just 45 minutes from Dallas Fort Worth International Airport.
Bass fishing in our 18-acre lake is included with all hunts. We have nearly 1,000 yards of private lake front, with dock access. We've caught an 8-lb bass in the lake before! Hunters can drop a line during midday hours in between morning and afternoon/evening sits.
