The mix of hardwoods and open grass flats on this property gives turkey exactly what they need, structure to roost in and open ground to strut in the spring. Birds working the wooded edges and creek bottom are vocal and visible in good conditions.
We are located in the North Zone for turkey.
This is the PERFECT local spot for turkey hunters. Our 292-acre property is located right in between Weatherford and Fort Worth, making this a conveniently accessible hunting and recreation property here in North Texas. We are only 10 minutes from interstate access to I-20 and just 45 minutes from Dallas Fort Worth International Airport.
Bass fishing in our 18-acre lake is included with all hunts. We have nearly 1,000 yards of private lake front, with dock access. We've caught an 8-lb bass in the lake before! Hunters can drop a line during midday hours in between morning and afternoon/evening sits.
