We have about 4,100 acres in Unit 703 and over 5,000 acres in Unit 650.
The ranch's habitat is a mix of productive crop ground, native grassland, rugged cedar-studded draws, and several reservoirs and stock dams that serve as critical water sources for wildlife. Corn and grain fields attract deer throughout the year, while the broken badlands and cedar cover offer secluded bedding areas and travel corridors.
This blend of open and broken terrain has lended to high success rates during Montana's General Rifle Season over the years!
Mule deer favor the rugged badlands and cedar breaks, often bedding high and feeding in adjacent grass flats or crop edges. Hunters can take advantage of elevated glassing points and terrain features for a successful general season hunt.
