Our acreage is loaded with birds every Spring. We have a good composition of prime Wisconsin bird habitat: farmland, dense woods, food plots, and draws.
There are reports that turkey populations are down due to big storms we had last year. Even so, I'll still see close to 30-40 birds at times on my cam or when I'm on the property. So, populations seem to be recovering!
Turkey hunters will most likely see Easterns in this part of Wisconsin.
We are located in Wisconsin Turkey Zone 4.
We like to save the first week of season (Period A) for family; however, periods B-F will be available.
