Poverty Hill Ranch
Poverty Hill Ranch is a sprawling piece of ground comprised of multiple parcels just South of Jetmore, Kansas. With just under 2,000 acres, our terrain is mostly rolling hills with pasture grass.
Hodgeman County is known for its great hunting opportunities. Our property sees Whitetails, Pheasants, Turkey, Doves, and Coyote, all pass through. We are eager to be hosting hunters this season!
We encourage all hunters to check out JJ's Sports Bar in Jetmore for a good bite to eat and to get your picture taken at the "Hunt Hodgeman" mural!
For some other good eats, make sure to stop by Bootleggers or Judy's World Famous Cafe!
Our property is also part of the Monarch Butterfly Migration trail southbound to Mexico. We see a lot of butterflies around Mid to Late September, and guests are invited to come out and see them!
At this time, we are not offering any structured lodging; however, Dodge City and Ness City, which both have lodging options, are only 25 miles away respectively. Our personal recommendation is the Best Western in Dodge City!
We look forward to sharing our treasure piece of the Sunflower State with folks!

This property is comprised of rolling hills with some trees give edges and bottoms. I saw a dozen Whitetails and half a dozen Turkeys while on my initial visit. Brian has also planted special flowers to help feed the Monarch butterflies as they migrate through this property.
