One of our passions at the farm is keeping bees and in this package we'll share our love of beekeeping with you!

Join us on a personaly guided tour of our apiary (Option of a multiple day tour) during the spring and summer months. Guests can fill their days with beekeeping, or exploring the farm in other ways like hiking, birding, rockhounding or just enjoying the beauty of Eastern Montana. This adventure will include as much hands-on experience with beekeeping as you are willing to do!

During our time together we will learn about the life cycle of the honey bee, talk about the differences between commercial and hobby beekeepers, and experience the thrill of opening up a hive. We'll suit up to explore the hives, check on their health, and of course try some honey if the bees have some to spare!

In addition to playing with bees we can arrange for other activities while you're at the farm. This adventure is completely customizable to you, or your group. Stay as long as you like and enjoy Eastern Montana.

Bio

PR Country Comforts was established in 2004 by Phil and Renee (PR) Steinberger.

Since our inception we have hosted, and met thousands of guests at the farm for everything from Goose Hunting to Beekeeping to Harvest. We take great pride in our farm, and doing everything we can to ensure guests have the best stay possible, no matter the activity. This level of attention means we have a high rate of repeat bookings with only a few openings each year. If you don't see something available in our listing, but want to inquire, feel free to reach out. We can customize a stay that fits just about any group.

We look forward to meeting you and welcoming you to the farm!
