The Robinson Ranch is a active cattle ranch in Montana’s Gallatin County. It is positioned on the northern edge of the Bangtail Mountain Range near the base of Battle Ridge. The Robinson Ranch, home of the Shields Valley Ranchers, is a 4th generation working ranch with roots dating back to homesteading in the Shields Valley in 1889. Robinson ranch offers stunning views of both the Bridger Mountains to the West and the Crazy Mountains to the East.  

Sleigh/Wagon Rides:

Our family is excited to host rides through our 4th generation working ranch. This is an excellent opportunity for you and your group of family members or friends to enjoy the great Montana outdoors and a traditional Montana cattle ranch. 

The Robinson Ranch will be offering rides for as many as eight guests in a group. All sleigh/wagon rides will be exclusive for your group and will include good conversation, historical information on the area, a sweet treat, a stop by the creekside and scenic views. Who knows you might even see an authentic cowboy or two! Rides will last about an hour.

Our beef is raised with the utmost care. Thought goes into the impact on the land, the environment, and the livestock themselves. Without those key pillars, our ranch would cease to exist.
