We are located in Unit 8 for deer.
The property is about 93% open ag fields. The eastern border of the farm has multiple patches of tree cover that will provide cover for the deer as they move to and from the fields to feed. Part of the timber cover is a highly productive staging or bedding area for deer... this area is marked on our map! The property is probably best-suited for rifle hunters that can set up on opposite sides of the fields and waiting for the deer to move from the tree cover into the ag fields. Bowhunters may have a tougher go, unless you set up in popup blind that can get you close enough to the timber without detection.
