Mule deer are commonly found in the ranch's rolling hills and areas between our CRP and croplands, while whitetails are seen more often near the river, creeks and fields edges.
Eight tree stands are located on the property, and hunters are more than welcome to bring their own blinds. Rifle hunters typically have the best chances of success with plenty of spots to set up for a shot.
Ranch is all contiguous ground. We have a mile riverbottom on Solomon River, with other small creekbottoms and livestock tanks. We have about 350 acres of CRP and 500-600 acres of farm ground that provide food. Our Triticale fields are grazed in the Spring, but the stubble is year round source of food.
We don't have any on-site lodging or camping availability; however, there are some decent Airbnbs in Morland (~8 miles away) and Penokee (~13 miles away).
Fishing is also available in ranch ponds, offering bluegill and sunfish for guests looking to round out their trip.
ATV use, camping access, and predator hunting available upon special request.
