Shadetree Ranch | 10 Minutes from Stillwater
Just minutes outside the Stillwater city limits, Shadetree Ranch offers a quiet, close-to-home getaway for hunters looking to slip into the woods without a long drive. This 80-acre property is a well-kept local honey hole: easy to access, yet tucked away enough to provide a genuine backwoods feel.
Thick timber dominates the landscape, creating ideal cover and bedding areas for whitetail deer in our area. A network of dirt trails, roughly two miles total, makes it easy to navigate the property on foot or by ATV, with clear movement corridors along the open run of power lines and the timbered banks of East Brush Creek. A small pond also contributes to the water sources on property.
Deer hunters will appreciate the natural funnels and shaded pockets throughout the timber, with plenty of options for setups on the forest edges and the creekbottom. Squirrel hunting here is equally rewarding, with dense hardwood cover and minimal pressure.
Beyond hunting, the property also provides excellent birding and wildlife photography opportunities, especially in the early mornings when the woods come alive.
Note: The ranch does not hold turkey.
