Simpson Farm
Simpson Farms is a farming operation just west of Red Cloud, Nebraska. Our farm is located about 6 miles north of the Nebraska/Kansas border in Webster County. We grow corn, beans and cover crops on our land. Our cropland and stubble are a great food source for Whitetails and other wildlife. We have rye growing till late May next year, then corn.
Our property also features Indian Creek which runs north to south through the farm to the Republican river 1/2 mile away. We have dense tree cover along the creek, which is where the majority of the wildlife will be.
We are happy to be offering hunts for Whitetails, Turkey, Waterfowl, and Coyotes. For guests looking for longer hunts, we are happy to send a special offer with discounted rates to accommodate you. Just send us an inquiry by clicking "Contact Terry."
Our farm is situated about 70 miles from Kearney and 60 miles from Interstate 80.
We have a fully-furnished RV available for lodging that you can add to your hunting package. The RV can accommodate a maximum of four guests and features a kitchen area, one bedroom with a queen bed, one fold out queen couch, one bathroom, and one shower.
We are excited to share our piece of Southcentral Nebraska with you!

The Simpson farm has some great cover and water sources that create amazing deer hunting. While walking the property I also saw dozens of doves throughout the fields.

5.0Terry, Cory, and family are wonderful people. Their farm sets up great for 1-2 bowhunters (the 2 of us are Traditional bowhunters). The creek runs North-South through the property and offers many good setups for treestands or ground hunting. We were there in early October, so foliage was still thick. Most all deer movement was along field/timber edge or along trails very near the creek. The best areas for deer movement were on the more south side of property and west of the creek. Great bedding and corridor cover in this area. Again, this property is a great opportunity for a small group of bowhunters who are low impact, close range type of hunters. We harvested one doe with multiple close calls on a second deer. This farm is a definite repeat!
Reviewed by Guest on October 2024Leif and Kirk were very respectful of the property and our RV. They use E bikes to get around, so there was no impact of any kind to the property. They left the property and the RV in the same shape as it was when they arrived. I am looking forward to them coming again in next year. Terry and Becky

Terry and his wife are both very accommodating. The property has decent travel routes deer use. I can not speak to the deer population as I only hunted on Terry's place for one morning and shot the first eight point that came by being it wasa nice buck. I wish I could have spent more time but still had a kansas tag burning a hole in my pocket. Thank you Terry , God willing I'll see you next year.
