Come visit the ranch for shed hunting and wildlife viewing. This package includes four days of shed hunting and wildlife viewing. Winter is a great time at Snowy Mountain Ranch to see large numbers of bull elk and 1000+ herds of cows in our neighborhood. The Snowy Mountains elk herd migrates to the south slope of the range where we are located. The rates for this package apply after turkey season.

House Description
This four-bedroom 2 1/2-bath home is well equipped with all the amenities of your own personal house. We leave all the necessities of home here since we stay at this home frequently also. Guests are welcome to use our spices and condiments as long as they check expiration dates and understand that there could be out-of-date food products in the house. We do our best to keep everything up-to-date. There are two living rooms with two separate large TVs. The upstairs living room has dish Network and the downstairs television has Netflix and Amazon Prime. We also have a washer and dryer for guests to use....

Located in the southeastern corner of the Big Snowies this ranch is the perfect basecamp for big game hunters. Elk and deer are often found on the property which has easy access to the Snowies.

Landowner Rules: We have a very high success rate for elk hunters if you don’t hunt with a bad wind blowing out of the south east. Our predominant wind is northwest during elk season. Folks that charge in to the woods with a bad wind usually ruin their hunt for a couple of days.
