Stoltz Ranch East
Our family's east property is quintessential Ponderosa pine country, home to elk, mule deer, some whitetail, and Merriam's turkeys. We ranch on just over 3,400 acres about 35 minutes southwest of Forsyth. The ranch is easily accessible from Interstate 94, about a 25-minute drive.

About our Family
We are newer to Eastern Montana as our family made the difficult decision to leave our family ranch in northcentral Montana, just north of Great Falls, where our family had lived and ranched for just over 98 years. Now, we are proud to call this area home after the learning curves that come with moving to and ranching in a different region of the Big Sky State.
This year, we are pleased to be offering hunting and recreation access to our 3,400+ acres. We are looking forward to sharing our land with respectful sportsmen and recreators. Please send us an inquiry if you have any questions, and we'll do our best to get you the answers you need to make your visit!

This place is loaded with mule deer, as evidenced by the herd of muleys I saw during my visit. The habitat I observed screams elk, despite not seeing any during the couple hours I spent on-site. Trent informed me that he's aware of turkey, big game, and predator populations on the ranch.

Had a great hunt, good amount of birds and the weather was great.

This is a very nice ranch with an obvious variety of game. We saw good numbers of Elk, Antelope, both whitetail and mule deer, pheasant, grouse and turkeys. We didn’t have the pleasure of meeting Trent, the owner, as he was out of town during our stay. He was, however, responsive and very accommodating by phone. We managed to finish filling our turkey tags on the last morning of our hunt. I would come back here without hesitation.

Todd was easy to host and communicate with. He treated the place respectfully and was good about letting us know what he saw and how his experience was. We would happily have him back.

Great Property, very beautiful, saw elk, whitetail deer, mule deer and Antelope. Good population of Turkeys, when we visited the wind was blowing and it was chilly which made for a tough turkey hunt, but in the end we were successful! This is a great ranch, a very good host.
Reviewed by Guest on April 2024 Trent is an exceptional landowner and has a beautiful property! He was extremely helpful leading up to and during our trip. The property is full of wildlife and has everything elk, deer, and turkeys need to flourish. Would highly recommend it to anyone interested!
